David Stern allows Eric Gordon extension

The New Orleans Hornets have made guard Eric Gordon a four-year contract extension after receiving authorization from the NBA, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Gordon and the Hornets have until the end of Wednesday to reach a contract extension or he will become a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
“In terms of my contract extension, Dell Demps indicated that it’s out of his control and NBA commissioner David Stern has the last determination on the contract extension,” said Gordon, who will be a restricted free agent this summer if he doesn’t sign an extension.

What is going on with this round of extensions!? Pay these kids or else Danny Ainge will!! At least Eric Gordon's ploy to go public with the process has forced David Stern to make a quick decision even though it wasn't a hard decision.  Can't let the main prospect leave.  Sigh, we are on a roll today! Obama's State of the Union has every business acting unintelligently, we are all probably scared we will be receiving tax hikes.
